Summary of minutes

Taking Stock 2.0 will be launched at the conference in June.  The rights to further editions have been signed over to STLHE as have all the royalties to support EDI initiatives within the Society.  The Board approved Denise Stockley and Valerie Lopes as volunteer coordinators of the 2023 conference.  The Board set aside some monies to support Directors in attending the conference and AGM face-to face.  Notice as given that one of the AOR contracts is expiring shortly, and that their contracts will need to be revisited by the Board soon.  Some initial conversation about strategic planning commenced and will be taken up more fully in the face-to-face Board meetings before the conference in Ottawa.  Notable ideas coming forward: the development of new revenue streams for the Society; the possibility of producing regular issue or position papers.
