Partnerships
The Society for Teaching and Learning in Higher Education (STLHE) continues to evolve as a national organization with strength and vision rooted in the active, dynamic collaboration with current and future partners. Presently the STLHE has significant, diverse partnerships and working relationships with several organizations and initiatives.
Associations
ICED—the International Consortium for Educational Development STLHE is a founding member of ICED, which was formed in 1993. This group is a network of societies and there are no individual memberships. There are currently 26-member organizations and hosts a biennial conference and the International Journal for Academic Development
POD—Professional and Organizational Development (POD) Network in Higher Education STLHE and POD have a longstanding partnership that supports the work of both societies to further our work in educational development and higher education.
Award Sponsors
3M Canada is the exclusive sponsor of the 3M National Teaching Fellowship and the 3M National Student Fellowship Programs. STLHE and 3M have partnered on these awards since their inception in 1986 and 2012 respectively. Since then, more than 300 professors and 50 students have been welcomed into the 3M fellowship community.
Desire2Learn (D2L) is the exclusive sponsor of the D2L Innovation Award in Teaching and Learning. STLHE and D2L have partnered on this award since its inception in 2012.
