Call for Nominations: 2019 Alan Blizzard Award in Collaborative Teaching

The Society for Teaching and Learning in Higher Education (STLHE) is pleased to invite submissions for the 2019 Alan Blizzard Award in Collaborative Teaching.

The Award is open to groups of two or more individuals, at least one of whom must be currently teaching at a Canadian post-secondary institution (colleges, cégeps, polytechnics and/or universities). The team may be from a single department/faculty/school or represent interdisciplinary collaboration within or among institutions.

The team that receives the Alan Blizzard Award will present their project as a concurrent or poster session at the upcoming STLHE Annual Conference and will receive:

  1. Up to $3,500 for registration and travel to attend STLHE’s Annual Conference (in accordance with STLHE’s Travel Policy (8).
  2. A Certificate of Recognition presented at the Conference Awards Ceremony.

The Award recipients are encouraged to submit their project for publication in CELT (Collected Essays on Learning and Teaching).

The deadline for applications is 15 February 2019.
