From the President: Welcome to 2018!

Denise Stockley, STLHE President

It is traditional to make resolutions as a new year unfolds that are based on a reflection of the past and aspirations for the future. In my role as STLHE President, there are things that I aspire to do in 2018 and of course we know publicly declaring our resolutions ensures that they are more likely to be met. My first aspiration is to engage with our membership to find new ways to enact our STLHE Goals in a meaningful manner. Historically, our members have engaged fulsomely with these goals and our society was built based on this dedication and commitment to engage with each other. This leads nicely to my second aspiration, to encourage leadership from our membership that potentially could include volunteering your time and talents within STLHE and beyond to further our individual and collective goals in teaching and learning in higher education.
