The CELT journal is published semi-annually, and is an online peer-reviewed journal. It includes scholarly and practice-based articles associated with the annual conference of the Society for Teaching and Learning in Higher Education (STLHE). Now in its seventh volume, the intent is to challenge conference presenters to convert the essence of their peer-reviewed sessions into essay form for dissemination to a wider readership interested in teaching improvement practices in higher education.
CELT was created by a team at the University of Windsor who managed the editorial team from 2007 thru 2014. The managing task was then passed to Neil Haave at the University of Alberta who has overseen the CELT publication for the last three years. The University of Windsor’s Library has graciously agreed to continue hosting the journal site using the open journal system.
The editorial team includes a managing editor, administrative assistant and five section editors to manage the peer review process. The team will be supported through the transition process by the past managing editors.
