Member survey: help STLHE achieve 20/20 vision

As we interested in hearing about your perceptions and experiences as a member of STLHE, the Society invites your contribution to help set the vision and priorities of our Society. It has been a number of years since the STLHE has surveyed its members and in order to inform the STLHE Board of Directors about the current membership and guide future directions, we are inviting you to take 15 minutes and provide feedback on your experience as a STLHE member.

Gateways in Higher Education: Cultures, Transitions, Transformations.

Join us to celebrate, discover, and explore teaching and learning. Registration opens in February on the conference website.

Join us to celebrate, discover, and explore teaching and learning in the unique context of Halifax—a place that combines real and imagined gateways with a 200-year history of providing opportunities for higher education. Understanding where we’ve come from, and where we are now, is key to understanding where we’re going, and how we can develop and change over the next century to meet the needs of our changing student demographics.

Educational Developers’ Cookbook

We are pleased to share with you The Educational Developers’ Cookbook, the collected efforts of developers around the world. This collection of ideas for icebreakers, workshops and ways to get feedback on your teaching is freely available for all to use. All the ‘recipes’ are licensed by Creative Commons meaning others are free to use them and make changes if they wish.

We would like this to be a living site, and provide a template for new submissions. Please send your ideas questions or comments to Celia Popovic or Lisa Endersby.
