Library_250Sign out a 3M Fellow for 30 minutes at STLHE 2016: The idea of a human library is not a new one and libraries have run the project in Toronto, Ottawa, and Vancouver. To celebrate the 30th anniversary between 3M and the 3M Fellows the 3M Council has proposed a human library and has invited 3M Fellows to be available for a 30 minute loan period to meet with STLHE members. Learn more about the 30 for 30 Human Library and watch for updates as the conference draws nearer.

STLHE and 3M sign a new agreement: STLHE_3M-250The STLHE Board is pleased to announce that 3M and STLHE have signed a new agreement for the sponsorship of the 3M National Teaching Fellowship and the 3M National Student Fellowship. Instead of negotiating separate agreements the two awards are included in the new agreement that runs until 2018. The Board expresses its gratitude and appreciation for 3M’s support, especially during this special anniversary of our partnership.

Website_250Update and revitalization of the STLHE.ca domain: The Board has embarked on an ambitious project to improve the Web/Internet presence of the Society and its affiliated groups. A RFP has been posted and we invite you to look it over, and pass it along to anyone who you feel may be able to help us build our new online presence.
