We must keep dreaming: The silver jubilee celebration of the 3M National Teaching Fellowships
The Session program:
For the past 25 years, the Society for Teaching and Learning in Higher Education and 3M Canada have
partnered to award the 3M National Teaching Fellowships for outstanding teaching and educational
leadership in a broad range of disciplines across small and large Canadian universities. On Wednesday,
June 23, 2010, in Toronto, a special event will mark the silver anniversary of the Fellowships to give
thanks to our students for their part in our careers and our gratitude to 3M Canada for its generous
support.

Louise is an award-winning poet whose published works include The Crooked Good(2007), Blue Marrow (1998, 2004) and Bear Bones and Feathers (1994).Halfe, whose Cree name in English is Sky Dancer, was born on the Saddle Lake Reserve in Two Hills, Alberta, and she attended the Blue Quills Residential School. She currently lives near Saskatoon. Bear Bones and Feathers received the Canadian Peoples Poet Award and was a finalist for the Spirit of Saskatchewan Award. Blue Marrow was a finalist for both the Governor General’s Award for Poetry and the Pat Lowther Award, as well as for the 1998 Saskatchewan Poetry and Saskatchewan Book of the Year awards. Louise Halfe was Saskatchewan’s Poet Laureate in 2005 and 2006.
