About STLHE

The Society for Teaching and Learning in Higher Education (STLHE) is a national association of academics interested in the improvement of teaching and learning in higher education.  Its members comprise faculty and teaching and learning resource professionals from institutions of post-secondary education across Canada and beyond.  Founded in 1981, the bilingual STLHE is home to the Educational Developers Caucus and the Council of 3M National Teaching Fellows.

The Society sponsors an annual conference, an electronic bulletin board, a national awards program, and publishes a tri-annual newsletter, Green Guides, and Collected Essays on Learning and Teaching.

Membership in the Society has many benefits, including an annual conference and professional networking opportunities.
