Academics for Higher Education and Development (AHED)
Academics for Higher Education and Development (AHED) is a Canadian bi-lingual non-governmental organization incorporated in March 2007 with charity status in 2008. AHED’s mission is to support developing countries in building capacity in higher education. AHED fosters this goal by sending as volunteers working and retired professionals and academics, including faculty, staff, and administrators, on projects in the developing countries to assist in building and improving their institutions of higher education.
