STLHE 2010: Exploring, Shaping, Knowing: Creative Teaching and Learning June 23 - 26, 2010
Ryerson University and the Ontario College of Art & Design

STLHE is a national association of academics interested in the improvement of teaching and learning in higher education. Its members comprise faculty and teaching and learning resource professionals from institutions of post-secondary education across Canada and beyond.  Founded in 1981, the bilingual STLHE is home to the Council of 3M Teaching Fellows and the Educational Developers Caucus. Each year, the STLHE conference participants exchange ideas, communicate research findings, and connect with old and new colleagues.

STLHE 2008: University of Windsor
June 18 - 21, 2008
University of Windsor, Ontario, Canada

The 28th Annual STLHE Conference will explore the assumptions, practices, challenges and possibilities of internationalization, broadened world views, and the impact of globalization trends in post-secondary settings. How can institutions of higher learning incorporate international and intercultural dimensions and a heightened awareness into the educational process? How does a multiplicity of cultural, linguistic and experiential differences among students require educators to adjust approaches to epistemology, academic practice, and self-expression?
